JOYFUL WORSHIP
God designed us to worship Him, not only privately, but to experience the joy of corporate worship.
Often when we gather to join others in worship, our hearts are weighed down with the cares of this world. We do not want to worship and it does not seem that ours will be genuine. However as the congregation sings, confesses, prays together, and hears God’s Word, His joy settles over His people.
We gain joy from seeing others enjoy what is good. God made us to be in community and there is a sense in which our joy is not complete until we have shared it with one another. The same is true when we enter into worship. God designed us to worship Him, not only privately, but to experience the joy of corporate worship. There is no substitute for corporate worship where our mouths are joined in union, confessing Jesus as Lord, singing His praises, testifying of His goodness, experiencing His presence, and hearing His Word together.
This joy cannot be duplicated.
TEACHING
The teaching ministry at Meadowview is a multi-faceted program of instruction where God’s word is presented graciously and full of truth.
The teaching ministry at Meadowview is a multi-faceted program of instruction where God’s word is presented graciously and full of truth. Our teachers and facilitators share this truth and grace in all kinds of age groups and settings from our more intimate adult Life Groups to our more formal classroom settings like Sunday morning Bible Hour. But probably the place where Meadowview is most unified in its teaching ministry is the preaching that happens each Sunday morning during our regular worship service.
Nevertheless, regardless of which avenue of teaching one partakes of at Meadowview, the ministry’s goal is the same: to equip God’s people to savor the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and find rich biblical doctrine and application for everyday life for everyday people.
FELLOWSHIP
The teaching ministry at Meadowview is a multi-faceted program of instruction where God’s word is presented graciously and full of truth.
Standing around talking after Sunday worship, sitting across the table from one another at a Wednesday evening meal, gathered in someone’s home for a LifeGroup meeting. These are just a few snapshots of how one might find people at Meadowview as we pursue deeper relationships with each other. Christian fellowship, however, isn’t simply optional. The Bible calls the Church to be in the habit of all kinds of “one-anothering”.

Our fellowship isn’t a closed group. No secret handshakes. No prerequisites to hospitality. So whether it is Sunday morning worship, Wednesday evening meals, LifeGroups, or other informal times and get-togethers, the body of Christ at Meadowview strives to savor the grace of Christ Jesus through close Christian fellowship.
ABOUT JESUS
He is the healing balm for the weary and the broken, the fulcrum of history, and the center of everything.
Who Is He?
Jesus is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity who took on flesh to be “God with Us” (Immanuel). His Name means Yahweh Saves. Indeed he is! Indeed He does! Jesus, being both truly man and truly God, provides the way for humanity to be reconciled to a perfectly just and gracious God. In the person of Jesus, God’s justice is satisfied. In the person of Jesus, God’s mercy is offered.
Jesus is the link between God and humanity
This is necessary because God and humankind have been separated. Because humanity is lost and spiritually dead due to both our nature and our own disobedient hearts and actions, we cannot work our way back into a good relationship with a holy God. Because humanity is too weak to endure the punishment for sin and overcome death, we cannot save ourselves.
Jesus is the healing balm for the weary and the broken, the fulcrum of history, and the center of everything. Because He died for the sins of His people, we can escape the punishment we deserve. Because he rose from the grave, we can have power to overcome the darkness we each must face daily, both within our own soul as well as in the world around us. Because He lives, we too can live and walk in newness of Life. He is the joy in our pain, the wisdom for our foolishness, and the reason why we exist. He is Creator God and He is Savior God and through His work on our behalf that we receive by faith, we become Adopted Children of God with all the rights of God’s children.
What is Grace?
Grace is, as we like to define it here at Meadowview, unmerited favor from God. “Unmerited” just means something we don’t deserve nor something we can’t earn.
Grace is received BY FAITH! Martin Luther explains that we get grace the way the grass gets the rain, we receive it! Faith receives Grace.
